Fame HUD™ Manual
Operation
Getting Started
- To get started with Fame HUD, simply add the HUD and camera attachment to your avatar.
- Begin walking and you should see the cameras appearing around you, clamoring for a shot.
HUD
- Switches
- Power switch: Turns on and off the walking cameras.
- Mute switch: Allows you to mute the cameras, but they’ll still flash.
- Lens
- A single click on the lens will trigger an exposure, even if you’re not walking or if the power is off.
- If you click and hold on the lens for at least one second and then
release, a dialog will be presented, allowing you to queue multiple exposures in succession.
- Your profile photo will appear behind the shutter.
- Hide Arrow
- In the lower left portion of the HUD, clicking the arrow will hide the HUD off screen. A smaller icon will replace it for calling the full HUD back.
- Download Cloud
- This feature will appear in the lower right corner of the HUD in the event that a newer Fame HUD has been released.
Camera Attachment
- By default, the cameras attach to ‘avatar center’ to prevent erratic movement as your avatar moves about. The effect is the cameras appear to hover smoothly around you.
